A note to Gilda Joyce fans:
Thank you to so many friends for your wonderful messages! I’ve noticed that Gilda Joyce readers have something in common: you’re smart, creative, and unique. Nothing makes my day more than receiving a note from a reader, and I care about every one of you! I read everything you send me, and I intend to reply to you personally! However, I might not be able to write back as quickly as you’d like. (I know; I hate waiting for emails too.) Just know that if you don’t hear back from me right away, it’s only because I’m so busy working on a new book or attempting (and sometimes failing) to keep three busy toddlers out of trouble. Your note is very appreciated!
A note about Gilda Joyce
book #4:
Yes — there will be a fourth Gilda Joyce book, and hopefully more! In this next book in the series, Gilda has an adventure in Washington, DC, and gets a lesson in the tradecraft used by real spies. Note: exact publishing date to be announced…. I’ll do my best to make this next adventure worth the wait! |
JENNIFER ALLISON
Jennifer Allison grew up in a small town in Michigan. One of her best friends lived on a sheep farm, and the two girls found the spooky atmosphere of the barn hayloft to be perfect for séances. As it turned out, the experience was also perfect inspiration for a novel about a thirteen-year-old psychic investigator.
Ms. Allison holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.F.A. from American University. Her various careers have included work as a news reporter and high school English teacher. She has also held numerous odd jobs — piano player in a shopping mall, assembly-line worker for General Motors, waitress, preschool teacher — that have helped her generate ideas for characters and stories. Jennifer Allison currently lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband, Michael, and their three children — Max, and the twins, Marcus and Genevieve ("Gigi").
